Welcome to our 11th Annual Summer Scrap Sistaz Weekend Crop!  We are so looking forward to you joining us.  We have wonderful things planned and our goal for the weekend is to RELAX and have FUN whether you scrap a little or a lot!

Registration Information
$125 – 3 day Crop (Friday-Sunday)
$160 – 4 day Crop (Thursday-Sunday)
Registration is first-come, first-serve so it is important to reserve your spot as soon as possible.  Each person will have “6 feet“ of crop space and a personal trash can.  Please let us know if anyone needs special accommodations.

Scrap weekend agenda
The crop room will open at Noon on Thursday (4-day Cropper) and 11 am on Friday (3-day Cropper) but the scrap weekend will officially kick-off at 6 pm on Friday, July 19 with announcements and special details for the weekend.  The scrap weekend will end on Sunday at 3:00 pm and you are welcome to come and go as you please all weekend! J 

You will receive a detailed weekend agenda a week before the retreat so you can plan your fun.  The weekend will be very open so that you can do whatever you choose and enjoy your time hanging out with new and old friends.  And don’t worry if you’re not in your seat for the general prize drawings, your prize will be waiting for you!

Hotel Information
If you are not familiar with the Hyatt Regency Phoenix Downtown, you are going to be in for a real treat.  The best part is all the guestrooms are super close to the crop room.  Just step off the elevator and there you are. 

The Hyatt offers 4 different dining/lounge options, and has a variety of restaurant options all within walking distance of hotel. Also 2 blocks away, CityScape, with restaurants, bars, retailers, bowling alley, dance club, live music venue and a comedy theater/supper club. Please check out the hotel website at www.phoenix.hyatt.com for more details.

The Hyatt Regency Phoenix has offered a special group rate of $109 per night single or double occupancy plus 13.27 % hotel tax* – each additional person is $25.  Parlor Suites are $129 per night and Executive Corner King Suites are $139 per night, based on availability.  They are also offering the Scrap Sistaz this wonderful rate 2 days before and after our event (base on availability) if you would like to extend your stay.  The Hyatt offers two (2) complimentary self-parking passes per guestroom for the parking garage south of the hotel.  Parking is $19 per day* for each additional vehicle.

To reserve your room, visit our personal Reservation Weblink or call the Central Reservations at either 1-888-421-1442 toll free.  If you call, make sure to mention you are attending the “Scrap Sistaz” event to get the discounted rate.   Hotel reservations must be made no later than Friday, June 22 to be guaranteed the special group rate of $109.   **Please note, you are required to stay at the Hyatt a minimum of two nights for the 3 day crop and three nights for the 4 day crop in order to participate in the event.**

Contests
We are planning a number of contests for you to enter and fun activities throughout the weekend and we’ll share more details closer to the event.  You may submit projects you created over the weekend.  Judging will be done by your fellow scrapbookers and prizes will be awarded!

Scrap Sistaz Work Station
We will have the following items for you to use during the retreat:
·        (3) Cricut Expressions 12” X 24” cutters
·        (2) Cricut Personal 6” X 12” cutters 

      (over 400 cartridges will be available to you!  Instructions will be provided, as needed.)

·        (1) Sizzix “Big Kick” Embosser/Die Cut Machine

     (We'll have a handful of embossing folders onsite and you’ll be able to use your own as well)

·        Computer & Printer with 100s of fonts for journaling

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions???
1.   Can I just come and crop during the day and not stay at the hotel?
No.  Staying a minimum of 2 nights for the 3 day crop and 3 nights for the 4 day crop is required to participate in the Scrap Sistaz Weekend.  The Hyatt has offered us a phenomenal rate at $109, so get some roomies and enjoy the weekend!

2.   Are any meals included?
No.  You will be on your own for all meals and Scrap Sistaz will provide some snacks, water and ice. There is a variety of restaurant options within walking distance.

    3.   Is Internet Access available in the Crop Room?
       Yes, Complimentary premium wireless access in guestrooms and limited wireless access               in the crop room.   


4.   Is there a minimum age to attend?
Yes, you must be at least 15 yrs old to attend.

5.   What are the hours the crop room is open?
The crop room opens Thursday at Noon and Friday at 11am and closes at 3pm on Sunday.  The crop room does not close during the weekend as long as there is someone scrappin’ in the room.  If no one is in the crop room, we will generally re-open each morning at 8am but we are happy to come earlier if you request it.  We will also make announcements throughout the weekend to make sure we are available when you are!

6.   Can I have visitors, family, pets, etc?
You are welcome to have family or friends visit you for a short period of time, but they are not allowed to stay and hang out in the crop room or use any of the tools, etc.  Everyone at the retreat has paid to be there, so we ask that you be respectful of that.  However, the Vendor Fair on Saturday is open to the public and family/friends are welcome to attend and purchase items. Also, no pets are allowed at anytime in the Crop room.

7.   Do I have to pay for parking, bellman, housekeeping and resort fees?
Yes and No.  Two complimentary self-parking pass per guestroom is offered.  Parking is $19 per day* for each additional vehicle.  There is no resort fee. There are no mandatory bellmen or housekeeping fees but we ask that you remember your service providers.

Refund/Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel and are unable to attend the Scrap Sistaz Weekend Crop, we must be notified in writing by May 31 in order to process a refund.  We will promptly refund your registration fee.  Any cancellations made after May 31 will not be refundable.  If you are unable to attend but have found someone to take your place, please notify us and contact the hotel to make a name change.  You are personally responsible for any changes/cancellations with the Hyatt Regency Phoenix and subject to their refund/cancellation policy.
